How to Reduce Shower Valve Cost
- Have the plumber cut in an access panel while the wall is already open — $30 to $150 in materials makes every future valve, cartridge or supply job a no-repair job.
- Identify the brand and model from the trim before calling: a plumber arriving with the right cartridge in the van finishes in one visit rather than two.
